Between them: a maritime law degree, a Coast Guard engineer's licence, a captain's ticket and a lifetime of racing out of the New Bedford Yacht Club.

Founder
Joe learned yacht and boat sales working alongside his father Dick, a fifty-year veteran of the industry, then read admiralty and maritime law at Roger Williams University and took a J.D. He has spent the years since dividing contracts, negotiation and dispute resolution between yacht brokerage and the insurance industry.

Yacht Broker
Ian came up through the junior sailing school at the New Bedford Yacht Club, the racing team and then the instructor's launch, and has helmed, owned and maintained everything from power cruisers to one-design sailboats. He began by reading surveys and negotiating for friends and family, and has been broking for the better part of five years.

Sean grew up coasting the Elizabeth Islands in his father's 1986 HiLiner and went on to Massachusetts Maritime Academy, where he studied Marine Engineering and graduated a U.S. Coast Guard licensed marine engineer. He reads a boat's systems the way most brokers read its brochure.

Yacht Broker
Jamie is a licensed captain and a respected fishing guide who has appeared on some of the largest sportfishing shows, and he raced competitively at the New Bedford Yacht Club and the University of Rhode Island. Ten years as a product manager inside the marine industry gave him a network few brokers can match.
